Timeline Therapy

What Is timeline therapy?
Timeline Therapy combines hypnotherapy with neuro-linguistic techniques to help release the negative emotions and limiting beliefs that you've been carrying for years.
It works with the way your unconscious mind naturally stores memories along an internal timeline. Instead of reliving a painful memory from the inside, you access it from a step back, above your own timeline, which allows the emotional charge to be released without having to relive the pain itself.
Because memories aren't fixed, they shift and change the more we carry them. Timeline Therapy works with that, changing how an experience is stored, and with it, the emotional weight it's been carrying.

People come to Timeline Therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes it's a specific emotion that keeps showing up, anger, guilt, sadness, that they can trace back to one experience, or several, and want gone for good.
Sometimes it's a limiting belief that's been keeping them small for decades. Something like "I'm not good enough," or "People always leave," formed years ago from an experience that's long since stopped being useful to carry.
It's also for people dealing with phobias, anxiety, or a pattern they keep repeating without knowing why, the same type of relationship, the same block around money, the same fear that shows up right when things start going well.
What they have in common is that they're ready to stop carrying something, without wanting to relive it in detail to let it go.

faqs
I don't want to relive painful memories. Will I have to?
No, that's actually the whole point of how Timeline Therapy works. You access the memory from a dissociated point, above your own timeline, rather than from inside it. You're aware of what happened without having to feel it happening again.
Does this involve hypnosis? Will I lose control?
It uses a light trance state, similar to what happens when you're deeply absorbed in a film or driving a familiar route on autopilot. You stay aware and in control throughout. You're never "put under" or unaware of what's happening around you.
How is it different from talking therapy?
Talking therapy often works by exploring and understanding an experience over time. Timeline Therapy works more directly with where and how that experience is stored, so the emotional charge attached to it can be released, often in a single session, rather than needing to be talked through repeatedly.
Will it definitely work for me?
As with any of this kind of work, an open mind helps. What matters most is your willingness to let go, some people hold onto an emotion because, on some level, it's been serving a purpose (protection, identity, familiarity). Part of the process is making sure you're genuinely ready to release it.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people feel a significant shift in a single session, since Timeline Therapy is designed to work quickly. If there are several different emotions or beliefs to work through, we may need more than one.
What is the price?
A session can last up to four hours with a price of £240. In rare occasions four hours is not enough, in which case a further session will be booked. The price of each additional hour is £60.
